These gracious Jumbo Jets of the birding fraternity was imaged on a lovely winter morning.

Spotbilled Pelican in flight....seen here is its pouch in the lower beak...

This Pelican was sourcing its nesting material.

This Spotbilled Pelican touched the water surface to fetch a floating twig to reinforce its nest. The early morning light has a golden touch to it.

The Early morning winter weather was perfect to capture this winged beauty and its reflection.

Spot-billed Pelicans are gracing lakes in Bangalore. They are absolutely adorable Birds, very graceful as they swim or in flight.

I call it a Jumbo Jet of Birds....In flight they just look like Boeing 747...Majestic in flight ...and beautiful to look up close..
