TIGER AT REST....BANDHAVGARH, MADHYAPRADESH...!!

After going dry for three or four safaris we did spot this Tiger taking rest right  in the middle of the road to beat the heat. In fact we had to reverse the jeep for quite a distance on this narrow stretch of road . She just did not budge from her position.

WHITE-EYED BUZZARD....PENCH....!!

White-eyed Buzzard. This raptor gets its name from its white eyes. This image was made at Pench Tiger Reserve  near Nagpur, Madhya pradesh.

TIGER IN THE BUSH, KANHA, MADHYA PRADESH...!!

Tiger spotting can be difficult specially among the tall grass in the forest...This one emerged out of no where as was a surprise.

TIGER OF KANHA....MADHYA PRADESH...!!

This Image was taken in my previous trip to Kanha Nationa park, Madhya Pradesh. This elusive cat's presence was being heard off by the alarm calls of spotted deer & monkeys...but could not be seen the entire day....

Waiting at the same spot the next day early morning....The cat appeared, but this time without any alarm calls...So it works both ways...Early morning light thro the forest did give me an opportunity to take some good pictures.

TIGER AT WATER HOLE...!!

After a long walk and end of the day this tiger quenched its thirst at a water hole.
