The name derived from the spots on their skin. Most widely distributed mammal in the forest. They have such a soothing feeling & one look at them you tend to forget all your stress & worries. They in the main food chain and are staple diet for the predators like, lion, tiger,hyena, leopard etc.

CAREING FOR....SPOTTED DEER, SUCKLING...!!

Despite being the most sought after prey in the food chain at the jungles...the life continues. It was this moment in the jungle which caught my eyes early in the morning...the Mother caring for its young one...Despite dangers of being attacked. I felt like staying there and keep watching...but had to move on....

ALERT...!!

Spotted Deers are very alert for the slightest movement and sounds. They survive the forest by their acute senses.

AMONG ELDERS..!!!

These little ones of the spotted Deer is well guarded by elders from the omnipresent dangers of the predators.

This Spotted Deer had one of the finest Antellers (Horns) to show off...They use it effectively during fights ...Its got a weather proof coating and feels like Swede.
