Darters or commonly called Snake Birds are expert in fishing....Perfectly adapted are their long beaks and flexible long-neck. They dive into water, wading and come out with its catch.
They some time display their catch before gulping it down. Its tricky to track them when they are underwater and you dont know where they emerge...some time right in front of you.
Zoom lens comes in handy in these situations...

keerthi, They are taken at differnt time of the day...Hence the lighting difference. One taken early morning...other later in the day...also on different days...
